Supernatural Fuel pouches have been designed for endurance sports (long distance triathlons, ultra distance running and cycling events, adventure racing etc) and, in particular, for times during endurance races when eating becomes difficult due to gastro intestinal problems.The pouches are made from blended plant ingredients which provide a natural mix of carbohydrates, proteins and fats that are easily digestible on the move.They are not designed to be a total fuel solution for an endurance race or event but to supplement other natural foods consumed at feeding stations or carried by competitors – they come into their own when eating becomes more difficult.

No.Anyone can eat Supernatural Fuel pouches as they are simply a blend of whole foods from plants.They are useful for any outdoor activity to keep energy level replenished including: cycling, running, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, paddle boarding, skiing etc.They can also be consumed pre, during or post gym workout, although our ethos is to promote outdoor activity

Supernatural Fuel pouches are designed to be eaten pre, during and post races.They comprise different energy and nutritional content therefore there’s no direct answer to how much an individual should eat and it depends on an individual’s size and the type of exercise being undertaken.As a guide, optimally you can absorb 1g of carbohydrate for every kg of body weight over a one hour period during moderate/high intensity training.

Not whilst sealed. The pouches have been sterilised to give a 12 month shelf life and do not need to be refrigerated for storage.Once opened though the contents of the pouch should be consumed straight away or refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours.

Yes. All of our pouches are made from gluten-free ingredients.

Most of our pouches are suitable for Vegans and are labelled accordingly.Some of our pouches contain honey, so are suitable for Vegetarians but not.

Yes. All of our pouches are Organic and certified through the Organic Farmers and Growers (OF&G) association.

Our Dates & Sesame pouch contains sesame seeds which are an allergen. None of our current recipes contain nuts, however, future products will contain nuts as they are a great source of natural protein and fats with high calorific value. None of our pouches contain dairy.

Supernatural Fuel pouches are made in small batches in our own production facility in sunny Devon, UK.

The pouches are made from aplastic and aluminium foil laminate which is not widely recyclable.However, we are looking to work with a specialist recycling organisation TerraCycle in the near future to solve this problem – watch this space!
