Liv is a mountain guide and has an amazing background in sport climbing and mountaineering. She has twice been a sport climbing world champion and three times an overall world cup winner. She was one of the first women to achieve the grade of 8c+ (5.14c) back in 2000.  In 2017, she set out to climb every Alpine summit over 4000m in a year. She completed the 82 peaks combining the descent with skiing and paragliding when it was possible.

On July 28, 2024, Liv and her husband Zeb Roche, became the first people to climb K2 without oxygen and descend by flying off the mountain via a tandem paraglider!!  To quote Liv 'being in the mountains and living out daily my passion for climbing, flying or skiing amongst the Chamonix peaks, where I currently reside, provides me with an unbelievable energy and a beautiful lifestyle.'
